Language & Cinema

Born and raised in Reunion Island, Marine majored in Applied Foreign Languages with an emphasis on English and Spanish at La Sorbonne University in Paris, France and studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain at the Universitat Autònoma. In 2011, she moved to Los Angeles where she returned to college and eventually graduated in Film and Television Production from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California in 2019. During her time at USC, she helped the production of Lalo’s House, a short film set in Haiti directed by Kelley Kali who went on to win the 2019 Student Academy Award. In parallel, Marine helped the development of Sèt Lam, a short film set in Reunion Island, written and directed by island native Vincent Fontano. The film was selected at Sundance in 2023. Marine co-founded Redline Moving Pictures (RMP) in 2019 with fellow alumni writer-director Ryan Alexander Huang and co-producer Penny Lin. Endless Yesterdays (2020) was their first production. She currently is the Executive Producer at RMP where she oversees strategy, marketing, and fundraising.

Artificial Intelligence & Web3

After graduation, she was hired at Artie — an A.I. startup based in Los Angeles focused on the future of entertainment. With a talented team of artists, engineers, and computer scientists, the co-founders Armando Kirwin and Ryan Horrigan — both Hollywood veterans and VR pioneers — were developing interactive storytelling technology for intelligent avatars.

As assistant to the co-founders, Marine collaborated closely with them in the fundraising process and journey. Promoted to Development Manager and later Head of Partnerships, her work helped the company foster relationships with film and television studios (Netflix, Warner Bros., Paramount…), musicians, and athletes. Some of her favorite career highlights include researching and developing an Alice in Wonderland project, securing a research partnership with Sesame Street for an innovative AI educational game, bringing SpongeBob to life in an interactive mobile game for the release of The SpongeBob Movie, working hand-in-hand with Marvel to create a mystery Deadpool interactive story, and last but not least, witnessing the birth of Fruit Bowl Frenzy.

After the pandemic, Artie pivoted to Web3 with a focus on the future of gaming, pairing an intention to disrupt the mobile gaming industry with app-less games featuring playable NFT characters with a desire to explore mobile games as communities. Marine’s role shifted from Partnerships to Community & Events. She helped plan and produce community events that ranged from brunches, dinners, parties, and concerts in Los Angeles, New York City, and London (including surprise performances by the Wu-Tang and NAS during NFT.NY). She is the most proud of The Ladies of the Artieverse, an initiative she created to bring women together around Web3 and NFTs. Additionally, getting to work with Julie Anne Quay, founder of the VFILES Foundation, when she stepped up as Artie’s Creative Director was one of the most inspiring moments of her career. She said her goodbyes to the company with a pop-up shop and NFT gallery exhibition in Los Angeles in November 2022.

Communication & Impact

In January 2023, Marine participated in a three-month accelerator which led her to the creation and launch of NO NAME LAND.

Marine lives in Topanga, California with her daughter Amadeus.
